Right.  Left.  Right.  Left.  Right?!

If you’re American and you’ve been to Samoa, first, I’m jealous of you; second, I know you had no problems getting around if you rented a car – they’re a right-side driving nation.  As is 70% of the world.  Some of the 30% of the world keeping left includes: Australia, Cayman Islands, Japan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago.

Ahh, but, that’s no more according to this article from the Wall Street Journal.

For the past few days now, Australia has been on my mind more than usual.  Not only do we sorely miss the culture, the food, and the people, we also miss the travel “bug.”  While the “bug” is still in us, I think it’s hibernating for a second.  Nevertheless, we’re trying to stir it back up.   And, it’s very possible given our healthy doses of Travel Channel shows lately.  Do we stay in Florida?  What other states would we consider living in?  Hell, what other countries?  (I promised my mom, though, that whatever the location if there is to be a new location, it won’t be quite as far as Australia!)

While in Australia, it seemed like almost every weekend was some sort of new travel adventure.  Soooo, maybe it was just to a new restaurant or neighborhood or store – it was still new, to us!

What is one person’s ordinary is another’s extraordinary.

When our “bug” wakes up and wants to hit the ground running, I have some ideas of new adventures:

Iguassu/Iguazu Falls – Brazil (on the border between Brazil and Argentina)

Pompeii – Greece

The Great Wall – China

 Taj Mahal – India

Where do you want to go?!!
