Our first night of camping was success! I’m not sure how we decided that camping would be our way on this journey as neither of us are keen campers, but our first attempt went well. We drove from Seattle to Roseburg, Oregon. Thanks to Rose (our Magellen Maestro GPS) we found Twin Rivers camp site. It was like a postcard…a river and fields of flowers and all! The camp site was right on the Umpqua River, and there weren’t very many people there, which was nice. Since we still had some hours of daylight to kill, we were able to check out the area and the Umpqua River.
The only downside, though, was that it got cold. SOOOO COOLLLDD!!! Other than that, it was fun and a great time!

Next up: California – Redwood National Park and San Francisco!!
